The City of Marianna and Main Street Marianna will host the 10th Annual Fireworks Celebration on Friday, July 3, 2020 at the MERE Complex on Caverns Road.
This year’s event will be different than those in the past. The change in venue is to allow for social distancing. All viewers will be asked to remain in their vehicle prior to and during the show. We will not be having vendors this year also to abide by social distancing guidelines issued by the CDC. Be sure to shop and eat with our local businesses before heading out to enjoy the show.The fireworks will be launched from the back of the MERE Complex which is sure to provide a show for all!
Fireworks will begin at 9:00 pm with patriotic music on 100.9 FM WJAQ. Parking for the show will begin at 6:00 pm. Marianna’s own Heyword will be the entertainment this year! Heyword will be performing live fromtheir studio streaming for all to enjoy from the comfort of their vehicles before the show. The streaming links will be posted on Heyword’s and Main Street Marianna’s social media pages in addition to Main Street Marianna’s website at www.cityofmarianna.com.
Parking is welcome on both sides of the MERE in addition to the Marianna High School football and baseball fields parking lots and the Marianna High School parking lot.
Main Street Marianna is selling Reserved Parking places for the event.
