Joyce G. Strickland, 73, of Alford died Friday, February 10, 2023 at her home. She was a native and lifelong resident of Jackson County. Joyce was born January 14, 1950 to the late Leslie Grissett and Annie Bell Haddock Grissett. Joyce worked may years in apparel and clothing manufacturing.
In addition to her parents, Joyce is preceded in death by her two daughters Donna and Loretta Strickland; four brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include her husband, Lonnie Strickland of Alford; two sons, John and Mike Strickland both of Bellview, FL; one brother, Lee Grissett and wife, Patricia of Alford.
Funeral services will be at 10 AM Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel with Rev. Donnie Hussey officiating. Interment will be in Salem Free Will Baptist Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
The family will receive friends at 9AM, Tuesday, one hour before the funeral at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.
