Joyce C. Dickerson, 80, of Marianna, Florida passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Jackson Hospital.
She was born March 17, 1941 to Hugh and Deverta Phillips in Gaskin, Florida.
Joyce enjoyed being outside and working in the yard. She was an exceptional mother and loved her family immensely. She loved the Lord and attended RCC church.
She was preceded in death by her husband for 33 years, Thomas Weldon Dickerson. Joyce is survived by her sons, Steve Dickerson (Sigrid) of the Philippines, Mike Dickerson (Donna) of Cypress; daughter, Laura Hall (Andy) of Marianna; sister Floyce Whittington (Floyd) of Eagle Lake; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
There will be a private family graveside service at the Dickerson Family Cemetery in Marianna, Florida with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. More obituary information will be given as it is received.
