Joyce Ann Kent Pridgeon, 75, of Alford, Florida went home to be with the Lord on February 25, 2023, at the Courtyard Healthcare Center in Marianna, Florida.
Joyce was born on June 9, 1947, in Marianna, Florida to Collis and Zolena Kent. A lifelong resident of the Florida Panhandle, and was a member at Bethlehem Baptist in Kynesville, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Collis and Zolena Kent; husband; Daniel Pridgeon.
She is survived by her son: Danny Pridgeon of Alford, FL; daughters: Peggy Brown (Steve) of Rainesville, AL, Rita Hall (Paul) of Millsboro, DE; brothers: Collis Alton Kent (Melba) of Alford, FL, Ronnie Kent (Vickie) of Graceville, FL; sister: Charlotte Roark (Steve) of Cottondale, FL; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
Service will be held 3 PM Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Kynesville, FL with Bro. James Gray Braxton officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida directing.
The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.
