Josephine Sue Butka age 80 of Cottonwood passed away on Monday, September 7, 2020 in Graceville. She was born on March 19, 1940 in Ohio to the late Rudolph and Mary Shipleby. Josephine has been a resident of Cottonwood for 22 years moving there from Old Town, FL. She was of the Catholic faith and was an active member of St. Columba Catholic Church in Dothan.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Josephine is survived by her husband Glen Allen Butka of Cottonwood, three sons Glen John Butka of Old Town, FL, Mark J. Butka of Cottonwood, AL, and Michael David Butka of Dothan, AL, six grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be held at St. Columba Catholic Church at a later date.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
