Jose Antonio Jimenez age 85 of Greenwood, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at his home. Jose was born on April 18, 1934 in Yauco, Puerto Rico to the late Juan Torres Santana and Hipolita Jimenez. He worked as a seamstress for over twenty years in Manhattan, New York. He moved to Jackson County in 2004 from Puerto Rico. Jose enjoyed being a handy man and was of the Seventh-Day Adventist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his daughter Mary Ann Jimenez.
Jose is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Ana Francis Jimenez, two sons Carlos Manuel Jimenez, and Jose A. Jimenez, Jr. (Radka), three grandchildren Kyiana Jimenez, Radek Jimenez, and Votjich Jimenez.
In consideration of community health and public safety due to the COVID 19 Virus, a private family graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2020 Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
