Jordan Lee Sloan, 19, of Marianna died Friday, May 27, 2022 at Jackson Hospital in Marianna.
He was born October 1, 2002 in Marianna, Florida to Johnny and Jennifer Sloan. He graduated from Marianna High School in 2019 and then attended Chipola College. Jordan was always the biggest sports fan! He had a passion for soccer and loved FIFA, basketball and spending time with his friends. He drove his Camaro to any sporting event he could. He managed to make as much as he could over the past four years as he bravely fought cancer.
Jordan was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Johnny and Ida Sloan Sr. and his maternal grandfather, Gerald Jones.
He is survived by his parents, Johnny and Jennifer Sloan, Jr; siblings, Jessica Riley (Steven), Kimberly Draayom (Phillip), Melanie Van Coller (Conrad), Travis (Caliegh) Morse, Noah Sloan, John Michael Sloan; nieces and nephews, Porter, Emmalyn, Jeremy, Karoline, Owen and Naomi; grandmother, Doris Hamilton (Richard); and many family and friends who loved him dearly.
Funeral services will be at 10 AM Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at First Baptist Church in Marianna with Brandon Griffin officiating. Interment will follow in Sapp Community Church Cemetery in Cottondale with James & Sikes Funeral Homes Maddox Chapel directing.Family will receive friends from 5-7 PM, Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at First Baptist Church in Marianna.
