John Oscar Bruner, 41, of Dellwood went home to be with the Lord on Feb. 12, 2021. John died from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
John was born November 15, 1979 in Marianna. He is preceded in death by his parents, John Oscar Bruner, Jr., and Betty Lucille Bruner. He is survived by his son, Jabe Bruner; his daughter, Addy Bruner; his twin sister, Jeanie Michelle Bruner of Blounstown sisters, Tabitha Truett of Marianna, Roxann Williams of Malone and Melody Summerlin; brothers, Buddy (Dee) Summerlin, Keith Summerlin all of Blountstown; one niece, Kaitlyn Williams of Malone; two nephews, John Johnson of Cottondale, Anthony Smith of Malone and Many friends.
John was a great man of faith, and he dearly loved the Lord. He was the proud owner of Unction Contracting LLC. John never met a stranger, he loved everyone and always had a smile and a laughter that would brighten any room. John loved his children and his family with all his heart. He was a great friend and mentor to many. John will be missed but never forgotten.
Funeral services will be at 2 PM Friday, February 19, 2021 at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel with Elder Fred Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Gods Little Country Holiness Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends Friday at 1 PM until service time at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel.
