Jerry David Conrad, aka “Cowboy”, age 81, of Marianna, Florida, passed away at his daughter’s home on Monday, March 7, 2022 with his daughter by his side.

Growing up, Jerry enjoyed playing sports but was happiest riding horses and watching all things cowboy. Most of all, he was a loving father and grandfather who loved his family, “the whole wide world worth”, and would do anything for them.

Jerry worked for the Florida Department of Transportation for 37 years and missed it right up to the end. Prior to his years with DOT, he served in the United States Army from 1963-1965.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father, R. G. Conrad; mother, Dannie Hatcher Conrad; sister, Billie Jean Lindsey and brother, Bobby Conrad.

He is survived by his daughter, Paula Livergood; granddaughter, Danielle Livergood; grandson, “the man” Carlton Livergood; ex-wife, Julia Hodges and three fur babies.

A time of remembrance will be from 2 P.M. – 4 P.M., Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Paula’s home: 4337 Angela Dr. Marianna, FL. with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Hope Project Inc. which uses horses to heal veterans. You can reach the Hope Project Inc. at 10703 Alex Drive, Fountain, Florida 32438, or by phone at (850) 896-4868 or visit their website at www.hopeprojectinc.org.
