Jeffrey Jerome Edenfield, 58, of Cambellton, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 in Panama City from an apparent heart attack.
He was born on February 5, 1964 in Marianna to James Hershell Edenfield and Joy Baxter. Jeffrey grew up in Cypress and Marianna until he left to attend school in North Carolina, where he graduated from high school. Jeffrey also had diplomas in welding, plumbing and truck driving. He loved to have cookouts and have family and friends attend. He loved to grill and have oysters that he loved to shuck. Jeffrey also loved animals, especially dogs and horses.
He is preceded in death by his father, James Hershell Edenfield; brother, Houston Earl Cobb; maternal grandparents, Daniel and Myrtle Alday; and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Perry Edenfield.
Left to treasure Jeffrey’s memory is his daughter, Jessica Edenfield; son, Jeffrey “Bubba” Edenfield; granddaughter, Angel; and granddaughter expected in October, Alishia Madison; mother, Joy Baxter; sisters, Judy Smith (Clay) and Vickey Williams (Rich); brother, Darrell Cobb; lifetime friend, Emmett Justiss; and numerous aunts, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday September 24, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Cypress Community Cemetery, with Pastor Melinda Wright officiating. The family requests attendees to dress casually.
