Janice Bush, age 76, of Chipley, FL, passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Northwest Florida Hospital. She was born on October 24, 1944 in Calhoun County to Elton and Dora Edenfield.
Janice Bush was a one of a kind person. She loved with all her heart and if she told you something, that’s what she meant even if you didn’t like what she had to say. She was a prayer WARRIOR and she Loved the LORD more than life itself. One of her greatest blessings was her children and grandchildren both by blood and by adoption. It didn’t matter what time of day or night if you needed her she was there. She passed very peacefully and I just know that it was a glorious moment for her and even though we may shed a tear, I rejoice in knowing she is in the most wonderful place and she is no longer suffering or worrying about anything or anyone.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, James Edenfield, and Michael Edenfield.
Janice is survived by two daughters, Lynne Ray of Chipley and Misty Hughes (Blake) of Ozark, AL; sister, Joann McCoy of Chattahoochee, FL and Rose Marie of Georgia; grandchildren, Erik Baker (Sarah), and Zack Ray; great grandchildren, Hailey Baker, Kiera Russ, and Connor Watts. She is also survived by special friends, Dianne Hodges and Richard Finsterbush; along with numerous nieces, and nephews.
Services for Janice will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor Keith Bowen officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society for breast cancer awareness in Janice’s memory.
