James Edward Eidson, known as “Buddy” to his friends and family, passed away Sunday May 22, 2022. He was born November 17, 1953, in Jackson Mississippi to Eugene Hayes Eidson and Hazel Bailey Eidson. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Teresa Faye Eidson, his son Daniel and his wife Stephanie, his son Travis and his wife Linda, and grandchildren, Tyler, Alex, Natalie, and Samantha. Buddy served in the US Army as an infantryman and paratrooper and retired from the Federal Bureau of Prisons after 22 years of service. A memorial service will be held Friday May 27, 2022, at 2:00 pm (CT) at the Peavy Funeral Home Chapel in Blountstown, Florida. All arrangements are under the direction of Marlon Peavy at Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown, FL.
