Mrs. Inez Holmes Wooden Davis of Sneads, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Davis retired from Florida State Hospital as a Unit Treatment and Rehabilitation Specialist. She was a member of True Holiness Church of Christ Written in Heaven. To know her was to love her.

Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 11:00 AM CST from the sanctuary of the Saint Peter Missionary Baptist Church located at 7989 McKeown Mill Road in Sneads, Florida 32460 with the Reverend Robert Wooden, Elder Broderick Raines, Elder Willis Raines, Jr., Reverend David Perry, and the Reverend Dr. Adrian D. Abner (pastor) officiating. Interment in the Sunset Garden Cemetery in Grand Ridge, Florida. Vann Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Davis will lie in state at the church on the day of the service from 10:00 AM CST until time for the service.

A viewing will be held on Friday, April 19, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM CST at Vann Funeral Home.

Mrs. Davis leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family: 

Six Children: Howard Holmes (Maggie) of Tallahassee, Florida; John H. Wooden, Jr. (Marva) of Marianna, Florida; Terry Wooden (Sandy) of Fairfield, California; Gloria J. Perry (David) of Temple Hills, Maryland; Rosie M. McMillian (Eddie) of Sneads, Florida; and Beverly A. Brown (Leonce, III) of Vallejo, California; Four Sisters: Emily Betty Raines; Cheryl Holmes, Brenda Holmes, and Yvette Holmes; Two Brothers: Willie Holmes and Samuel Holmes; Grandchildren: Victoria L. Perry Glover, Jeremy J. Wooden, Jokita J. Wooden Harris, Jamilla Wooden Guya, Giana Wooden, Javonni Wooden, Marcus Dawkins, Keith Dawkins, LaToya Dawkins Scott, Timothy Perry, Adrian Brown, Tyeisha Brown, Jasmine Brown, Ronald Holmes, and Reginald Holmes; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, other relatives, and many dear friends.
