Helen G. Wilson Smith, 83 of Graceville, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2023, at her residence following a brief illness surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Helen was born in Tampa, Florida on May 7, 1940, to the late Tallie and Bertha Grubaugh Wilson. A beloved mother and grandmother, Mrs. Helen enjoyed spending time with her family and watching old movies.
A Celebration of her Life will be 11 a.m. (CST), Monday, November 6, 2023, at the Chapel of James & Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. Chester Padgett officiating. The burial will follow in Marvin Chapel Cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
Preceded in death by her parents, sister Joyce Geiger, two great grandsons Kingston and Karson.
She is survived by her daughter Terri Smith (Ralph), two sons Bill Smith (Kyong-hee), Doug Smith (Leah), seven grandchildren Aimee, Hannah, Kaitlyn, Austin, Olivia, Isabella, Ender, brother Richard Wilson, five sisters Betty Ann Abney, Patsy Vain, Cathy Gerrish (Joe), Dianna Brown (Mike), Rose Peterson (Lamar), a host of nieces and nephews.
