Due to Covid-19, a private family service was held Friday, September 11, 2020 at 10:00 a.m., at Enterprise Baptist Church, Ashford, Alabama, for Heather Chanel Alderman, 48, who passed away September 8, 2020, at Southeast Health, Dothan, Alabama, after a brief illness.
Heather was born July 14, 1972, in Dothan, Alabama, to Joe Bruce Alderman and Sue Stewart Taylor. Heather is preceded in death by her father, Joe Bruce Alderman, grandparents: Felter and Lois (Stinson) Alderman, Evelyn Stewart Rabon, and step-grandparents RJ and Bobbie (Silcox) Taylor.
She is survived by her Mother, Sue (Stewart) and Stepfather, Sammy Taylor, Ashford, and Son and daughter-in-law Jake and Courtney (Gilbert) Singleton, Ashford; sister, Shannon Alderman, Dothan, brother, Joe Bruce Alderman, Jr., Ashford, a very special niece, Aubrey Whitlow Harmon, (Nick), Cowarts, nephews Tyler Moon (Morgan); Matthew McCraney; Brandon Alderman; grand-nephews: Zayn Harmon, Brody Moon, and Riggs Moon, and many special aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Pallbearers were Felter Alderman, Jr., JD Hasty, Steve Mounce, Matthew McCraney, Brandon Alderman, Tyler Moon, and officiating Reverend Bob Gross.
