Harold Don Johnson, 68, of Grand Ridge died Saturday, February 4, 2023 at the Southeast Medical Center in Dothan.
Don was a native and lifelong resident of Grand Ridge. He served in the U S Army and was a truck driver. He attended New Beginning Worship Center in Grand Ridge. He loved his family especially his grandchildren, and enjoyed fishing with his friend Roger.
Preceded in death by his mother, Pearl Mills; a brother Roy Mills and a sister, Carolyn Ortega
He was survived by his wife, Theresa Luvirne Johnson; daughter, Melissa Booth and husband, Eric; a son Donnie Wayne Johnson and wife, Christian all of Grand Ridge; one ;sister, Darlene Johnson of Sneads; two brothers-in-law, Eugene Stewart and Juan Ortega; eight grandchildren, Haylee Weeks, Sarah Weeks,Braydon Booth, Lacie Booth, Haze Booth, Don Ellis Johnson, Stetson Johnson and Gracelynn Johnson.
Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at New Beginning Worship Center in Grand Ridge with Revs. Tim Faircloth, Joel Ali and Barbara Lee officiating. Interment will be in Shady Grove Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at New Beginning Worship Center in Grand Ridge.
