Mark Skinner | TIMES - Jenna Barfield applauds as Sneads Hadley Barfield signs with the Gulf Coast Lady Commodores volleyball program Friday.

Family, friends, classmates, teachers and administrators gathered last Friday to witness the final senior volleyball player sign on the dotted line. Sneads Hadley Barfield is staying in the Panhandle to play collegiate volleyball. She will be heading to Gulf Coast in the fall.
Barfield was a part of two of the last four Sneads state championships, playing her freshman and senior year at Sneads High School. Her numbers speak for themselves in Gulf Coast selecting her to join their squad next year. Barfield recorded 271 kills, had 175 service points, 19 blocks and 243 digs.
Coach Heather Brinkmeier Edge couldn’t be prouder for her last senior to sign, “So proud of this kid right here. She is smart, beautiful, a humble leader, and dang sure one heck of a volleyball player. Gulf Coast really hit the jackpot with this one. She will be greatly missed. Thank you, Jenna Barfield and Daniel for allowing her to be a part of our program and lives. She has been such a blessing and a great role model for younger players.”
The publisher and staff of the Jackson County Times wishes Hadley Barfield the best of luck as she takes on the next chapter of her volleyball career as a Gulf Coast Commodore.
