Gregory Dean Coley, age 58, of Alford, FL, passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at his residence.
Gregory served our country during the Cold War and also Desert Storm. His rank was an E4 and then moved to a Tec 5. Before enlisting, Gregory was known as a sweet loving man and a proud father. He fell in love with Theresa Coley Radebaugh and gave life to two biological children; daughter, Marjorie Coley and James Coley; and adopted a daughter, Sarah Abrams. He cared for his children and showed them great love through their toddler years. He is survived by a twin brother, Jeffrey Coley; younger brother, Amos Coley, and sister, Helen Catarina. He loved his mother and was a mommy’s boy to Ida Coley. He now lays to rest with his father and two older sisters who are all deceased. He loved them so much that he protected them from any harm.
Gregory loved the outdoors, enjoyed quality time with his family, loved to go hunting and fishing, and play poker with his dad and brothers. He spent his alone time working on bikes and go-karts for his children with great excitement. He loved his dog Rosa. He was a country living man who suffered from PTSD after leaving the Army but had a family who loved him unconditionally.
No services are planned at this time. Memorialization will be by cremation with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
