Gregory Austin Wells age 70 of Sneads, Florida passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare.
He was born in Quincy, Florida on August 18, 1950 and spent most of his adult life in Sneads. Gregory served in the United States Army for six years where he was stationed in Germany and Japan. He worked at Florida State Hospital in medical records for twenty years.
Gregory loved bass fishing and watching football and was an avid FSU fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Henry Wells and Lavada Dabney Wells; one brother, Richard Allen Wells.
Gregory is survived by his loving wife of fifty years, Joyce Ann Wells of Sneads, Florida; children, Jamie Wells (Kristi) of Grand Ridge, Florida, Renee Hernandez (Jose Marroquin) of Monticello, Florida, Mandy Stephens (Simpson) of Marianna, Florida, and Jennifer Forehand (Jeffrey) of Quincy, Florida; brothers, James “Jim” Franklin Wells (Mary Kay) of Tampa, Florida, and Ronald Eugene Wells (Sandy) of Sycamore, Florida; two grandchildren, Trisa Forehand and Aiden Wells. He is also survived by a close family friend, Jennifer “Jenn Jen” Hall and fur baby, “Ruby”.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
