Four arrested in car burglaries

On June 5, 2020, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in the Campbellton area in reference to several vehicles being broken into, and multiple firearms stolen. Sheriff’s Office Investigators developed some leads and were able to identify multiple suspects that were involved in this incident. On Monday July 20, 2020, a 17-year-old juvenile was taken into custody on charges from this incident. On Wednesday July 22, 2020, another 17-year-old juvenile and a 16-year-old juvenile were taken into custody on the same charges, as well as an adult, Jawaun Daniels. The juveniles were processed and transported to juvenile detention in Bay County, and Jawaun Daniels was lodged in the Jackson County Jail. The individuals were charged as follows:

Jawaun Daniels, 20 years old of Greenwood
Principal to Armed Burglary of a Vehicle (3 Counts)
Principal to Grand Theft of a Firearm (6 Counts)

16-year-old juvenile of Greenwood
Armed Burglary of a Vehicle (3 Counts)
Grand Theft of a Firearm (6 Counts)

17-year-old juvenile of Greenwood
Armed Burglary of a Vehicle (3 Counts)
Grand Theft of a Firearm (6 Counts)

17-year-old juvenile of Cottondale
Armed Burglary of a Vehicle (3 Counts)
Grand Theft of a Firearm (6 Counts)
