The Florida Highway Patrol released the following information on the crash on Freeman Road off of Highway 231 last evening.
Vehicle-01 (V01) was traveling westbound on Freeman Road (County dirt road). V01 began to travel in a southwesterly direction when the front left portion of V01 collided with an embankment. This caused V01 to travel over the embankment becoming airborne. V01 continued traveling in a southwesterly direction and V01’s left side collided with an embankment. V01 began to rotate clockwise changing V01’s direction of travel. V01 began to overturn several times in a westerly direction. V01 came to final rest on the westbound travel lane of Freeman Road facing east on its roof.
Both occupants of the vehicle have not been identified at this time.
The passenger is listed in critical condition and the driver is deceased.
