Mrs. Evelyn Pope, of Marianna, Florida, transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Monday, December 9, 2019 in Big Bend Hospice in Tallahassee, Florida.
A Homegoing Celebration of Life service for Mrs. Pope will held on Saturday, December 14, 2019, at 12:00 Noon at Second West Missionary Baptist Church located at 4110 Herring Avenue, Marianna, Florida 32448, with Evangelist Sam Gray, Elder Malcolm Gibson, Pastor Barbara Lee, Evangelist B. Snipes, Elder Billy Wilson, officiating.
Mrs. Pope will lie in repose at the church form 11:00 AM until time for the service.
Interment will be in the Bethlehem AME Church cemetery in Marianna, Florida.
A viewing will be held on Friday, December 13, 2019 from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Vann Funeral Home.

Mrs. Pope leaves to cherish and celebrate a lifetime of fond yet precious memories a loving and devoted family:
4 Sons: Vincent Pope and Vernester (Irene) Pope both of Cottondale, Florida; Darold Pope and Stevey (Christie) Pope both of Marianna, Florida
2 Granddaughter raised as her own: Syrina Pope and Chandreya Gibson both of Marianna, Florida
1 Sister: Maria Pope of Macon, Georgia
14 Grandchildren; 22 Great grandchildren and 2 Great-great grandchildren
And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
