Mr. Emmanuel Henderson age 71 of Jacob City, FL entered into eternal rest on Friday March 20th.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday March 28th at the Shira Sr. and Chelcie Memorial Chapel located at 5304 Bowden Hill Road Campbellton, FL with Dr. Marvin Henderson officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary M. B. Church Cemetery located at 2286 Main Street in Jacob City, FL with McKinnie Funeral Home of Campbellton, FL directing.
A public viewing will held from 3 to 7 p. m. Friday, March 27th at the Shira Sr. and Chelcie Memorial Chapel.
Emmanuel was the seventh child born to the late Samuel Henderson and Inez Bailey Henderson on February 14, 1949 in Jacob City, FL.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He really loved his entire family and did everything within his power to be there for the family he cared so passionately for.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Rev. Samuel J. Henderson, Lillie Barnes, Eugene Jones, Shirley Pittman, Frances Henderson, Callie Ambers and Early Carl Henderson.
He leaves to cherish memories, a devoted and loving wife: Earline “Tanner” Henderson; five children: Philana Letitia Henderson (Donovan) of Slocomb, AL, Milik Gray (Angie) of Philadelphia, PA, Torrance Ra’mon Henderson (Melinda) of Tallahassee, FL, Belinda Janel Henderson of Jacob City, FL, and Cassandra Denise Shutz Auburn, AL; five grandchildren: Keondra Abriana Sherell Henderson, Kaelen-Daniel Ra’mon Menchion, Xavian Khalil Henderson, Gloria JeKenya Shutz and Zoe Janai Shutz; one great-grandson: Kairo Alexander Henderson; six siblings: Theodore Henderson of Lakeland, FL, Dr. Marvin Henderson (Irene) of Cottondale, FL, Josephine Lewis, Eula Johnson, Evelyn Pittman (Joe) and Olivia God all of Jacob City, FL; two sisters-in-law: Annie Lee Henderson of Jacob City, FL and Sandra Jones of Port St. Joe, FL; one loving ex-daughter-in-law: Sydonna Henderson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
