Elizabeth “Liz” Ann Hall, 83, of Pensacola, FL passed away on April 4, 2023 surrounded by loved ones. Born to Perry Lee and Raymond Vernon Holt on January 21, 1940 in Holt, FL.

The year of 1953, her family settled in Marianna, FL. She was the sibling to W.C., Annette, Dolores (Bud), Vernon, Nick, Diane (Doodle), Deb, Sharon, and Brenda. She married Lewis “Buddy” Hall on October 31, 1957. Being a military wife, Liz spent the next 20 years raising her family from station to station across the country. In 1976, they retired from the U.S. Navy, residing in Pensacola, FL.

A loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she was selfless and made certain anyone she crossed paths with never did without. Her cooking was second to none and at family gatherings she provided the best meals each and every time. If you stepped foot in her house you were offered and given some sweet tea or bread and butter whether you wanted it or not. Liz enjoyed attending or volunteering at her kids and grand-kids sports and other events. If you were to meet, you became an instant part of the family. Liz was loved by many and will be deeply missed. She will always have a special place in our hearts for all the love and kindness shared.

She was predeceased by daughter, Tracy (Gary Dunaway), and son, Lewis Jr (Louie) and is survived by her husband, Lewis “Buddy”; daughters, Elizabeth (Diane) (John Coker), Lori (Jimmy Dunaway); son, RJ (Jessica); grandchildren, Melissa, Jennifer, John Jr, Stephanie, Austin, Brooklynn, Autumn, Yasmine, Jakelynn, and Lathan; great grandchildren, Caitlin, Tyler, Elissa, John lll, Landon, Adam, Jada, Sierra, Garrett, and Emily; great great grandchildren, Kayson, Tyson, and Le’lanie.

Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Reverend Jack Hollis officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends from 12P.M. until the time of service at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
