Earnestine Deloach, age 70, peacefully transitioned on February 15, 2021 in Tallahassee, Florida. Born, July 2, 1950, to the late Willie Dan and Leiase Deloach, Earnestine was a lifelong resident of Panama City, Florida but moved to Tallahassee, Florida after Hurricane Micheal. Earnestine attended school in Bay County, Florida most notably Rosenwald High School. She was a beacon of light to those that loved her. She will be remembered for her contagious smile, love of music and dancing and her favorite drink Coca Cola.
Earnestine leaves to cherish her memories one son, Oscar Parker, two grandsons, Brandon Parker and Marcus Parker and nine great grandchildren; one dedicated sister, Carolyn Dixson-King of Panama City, Florida; four maternal aunts, Sarah Overstreet (John) of West Palm Beach, Florida, Jerlene Pinkard of Panama City, Florida, Ada Davis and Willie Ellis both of West Palm Beach, Florida; and two paternal aunts, Beatrice Clines and Bernice Williams both of Panama City. Earnestine also leaves to cherish her memories a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. To know Earnestine is to know love, peace and joy.
Viewing will take place Friday, February 26, 2021 at Greater Faith First Born Church from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm at 1904 East 9th Street, Panama City, Florida 32401.
Due to COVID-19, a home going celebration will take place graveside on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 11:00 am at Hillside Cemetery 1395 23rd Street, Panama City, Florida with Bishop Randy Williams, of Greater Faith First Born Church officiating. Interment will follow with arrangements entrusted to the Caring Staff at Peoples Funeral Home of Marianna.
