Deborah Ann Hansford Baxley

Deborah Ann Hansford Baxley, 67, of Marianna, Florida entered into her eternal rest on March 2nd, 2023 in her home surrounded by her loved ones. Debbie was born on January 29th, 1956 to John James Hansford and Ada Hansford of the Sink Creek community. She was proceeded in death by her parents, and one sister, Helen Hansford. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Joseph Baxley, Sr. and two sons, Joseph Baxley, Jr. (Michelle) and Clint Baxley (Shavonna); two brothers, George Hansford and Rick Hansford; a host of grandchildren, Kaitlyn Daniels (Ty), Ciara Baggett (Ashton), Maggie Russ Baxley, Jayden Mathis, Georgia Baxley, Brooke Melvin (Mason), Kayleigh Bruner (Jack) and Allie Grace Bruner; and 6 great-grandchildren, Sawyer Baggett, Halle Daniels, Stella Baggett, Casen Daniels, Sutton Baggett, and Presley Melvin. Debbie was devoted to her family. She always put everyone’s needs before her own. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family, playing with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, working in her immaculate yard, and cooking Sunday lunches. She was her husband’s number one fan, always following him to Bluegrass concerts and performances. Services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Marianna, Florida at 2 PM on Monday, March 6, 2023, with Bishop Jon Sims officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family would like to thank Covenant Hospice and Felicia Hill-Martin, with Stethoscope Staffing, for the tender loving care that they provided Debbie during her final days.
