COVID UPDATE

As of Friday, February 18, 2022, Jackson County had 47,261 residents. Of those, 21,047 or 47% have been vaccinated. There have been 14,612 total cases since March 2020 with a 34.4% positivity rate.
There were 10 COVID patients in Jackson Hospital with three on ventilators. New cases as of last Friday for the week 2/11/2022 – 2/17/2022 were 212 cases for a 16.1% positivity rate. There were 45 people vaccinated during this time period.
That was down from the week 2/4/2022 – 2/10/2022 when there were 265 positive cases for a positivity rate of 20.0%.
