Sandy Martin, Jackson County Health Department Director gave an update of the COVID numbers as of the morning of July 10, 2021.
As of 7/10/2021, there are 88 cases in the community being monitored, five long-term-care-facility staff members for a total of 93 total being monitored.
There have been a total of 14,836 people vaccinated with 108 vaccinated the week of July 2 through July 8, 2021.
There are now 11 people hospitalized from the community with three on a ventilator.
There have been 163 deaths in Jackson County.
Vaccinations are given at the Jackson County Health Department, CVS, WalMart, and Winn Dixie where you may call or walk in for appointments.
