COVID-19 positive cases rose from 2,111 on Tuesday to 2,159 cases, up 48 cases but no additional deaths were reported. Total deaths remain at 53. The Jackson County Health Department is presently monitoring 107 cases, not including Department of Corrections inmates.
Hospitalizations are up three to 108, up from 105 on Tuesday. Long-term care totals are at 309 with Department of Corrections at 1,041 cases.
Positive cases for four and under remain at 22, with the 5-14 positive cases remaining steady at 56. Positive cases for ages 15-24 increasing by two with a total of 198.
