Mr. Cornelius Pollock, III age 51 of Jacksonville, FL and formerly of Bascom, made his Heavenly transition on October 26, 2022. Cornelius was born in Grand Ridge, FL to Earlene Smith Pollock and the late Cornelius Pollock, Jr on September 17, 1971. He accepted Christ at an early age and later attend school at West Wood High School in Ft. Pierce, FL. He loved fishing, watching football and Western movies. He was also a huge Miami Dolphins fan. He was preceded in death by his father Cornelius Pollock, Jr.
He leaves to cherish a lifetime of precious memories to a daughter, Breona Pollock and husband Damian; a son Cornelius Pollock, IV and wife Loren; his mother Earlene Pollock; six grandchildren, Jeremy, Darian, Justice, Major, Royalty and Adalyn; sisters Katina Pollock and Cynthia Jackson and husband Demond; brothers Keith Pollock and Anthony Pollock; stepchildren, Brianna Wilburn and David Durden; aunts Betty Foster, Ruthie Stephens, Evelene Powell and husband Gary, Lillie Brown, Jessie Golden, Rosa McHellon, Pastor Barbara Pollock and Lillian Baker and husband Lawrence; uncles Joe Pollock and wife Barbara, Walter Smith and wife Christina, T.C. Pollock and wife Linda and James Pollock; a loving and caring fiancé, Tammy Corder and a host of other loving family and friends.
A time of visitation will take place on Saturday, November 12, beginning at 12 noon, with the funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. at the New Liberty Hill Missionary Baptist Church located at 5239 Liberty Hill Road in Bascom.
