Christiana Battles Anderson of Grand Ridge entered into eternal rest on July 7th at Gulf Coast Hospital. She was 66 years old.
She was of the Baptist Faith and a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
She leaves precious memories with one sister, Gladis Marie Battles of Grand Ridge, Florida; two brothers, Cornelius Battles and wife Melissa of Grand Ridge, Florida and LaShon Gilbert of Port St. Lucie, Florida; five aunts, Floizell Smith, Sylvia Lewis, Sylone Robinson all of Grand Ridge, Florida, Mary Hearns of Greenwood, Florida and Mary Ann Wobbleton of Stuart Florida; five uncles, Willie Smith and wife Emma of Geneva, Florida, Rev. TC Smith and wife Mary of Grand Ridge, Florida, Nathaniel Battles and wife Bessie, Herbert C. Battles both of Blountstown, Florida and Bradley Battles of Ft. Pierce, Florida; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
A homegoing celebration will be held graveside Saturday, July 18th at 11a.m. at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Grand Ridge with Pastor Randy McMillan, Min. Human Smith, Pastor Mark Dudley and Pastor Dwight Cockerham, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow with arrangements entrusted to the Caring Staff at Peoples Funeral Home of Marianna.
