Charollett Elizabeth Montford Bailey age 80, received her heavenly reward on Monday, August 16, 2021. She was born on January 15, 1941 to the late Charlie and Clara Montford in Chattahoochee, Florida. Charollett loved the Lord and served him by playing both piano and organ for over sixty years at First United Methodist Church of Chattahoochee. Not only did she love to play, but she also spent countless hours teaching piano to many area people of all ages. She was known for her beautiful plants and flowers; her gardening skill were admired by many in the community. Charollett was retired from over thirty years of service at Florida State Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Sybil Majors and brother-in-law, David Majors.
The pride and joy of her life; Charollett is survived by her loving husband of sixty-two years, Harold W. Bailey Sr; three children, Harold “Harry” W. Bailey Jr. and wife Jennifer, Sherry Brannen and husband Chris, Roger Bailey and wife Andrea’ grandchildren, Chase Tindall (Cherry), Hunter Tindall (Sky), Ariel Bailey, and Elle Bailey; great-grandchildren, Steven Tindall and Bayleigh Tindall. She is also survived by a brother, Charles Montford and wife Mary Kay.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bailey will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021 at 12:00 P.M. Central Time, 1:00 P.M. Eastern Time in the First United Methodist Church of Chattahoochee with Rev. Mike Hutcherson and Pastor Mary Ann Piccioni officiating. Burial will follow at Nettle Ridge Cemetery in Blountstown, Florida.
Due to Covid – 19, the family has requested that all attendees please wear a mask.
