Charles T. Walker, 86, was released onward to the journey beyond on July 30, 2021, while residing at the home he built in College Point. Charles was born in Noma, Florida on September 15, 1934. He was preceded by his wife Ruth Walker. They were happily married 55 years.


He was a mechanic and owned Walker’s Auto Repair in Panama City and Lynn Haven Starter and Alternator until he retired. A hard worker and a devoted family man, he worked 7 days a week for decades ensuring he was always able to provide for his family’s wants and needs. He will be dearly missed.


He is survived by his four daughters Shelia, Thressa, Cynthia & Deborah, nine grandchildren, Kristina, Joshua, Melanie, Jennifer, Melissa, Lawrence, Kara, Corey and Ashley as well as ten great-grandchildren which include Ethan, Branden, Jerry, Romy, Gabrielle, Yvonne & Freya.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM Monday, August 2, 2021, at the Chapel of James & Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. Chester Padgett officiating. Burial will follow in Brown-Bush-Tindall Cemetery in Graceville with James & Lipford Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral from 10AM-11AM at James & Lipford.
