Carolyn M. Ortega age 56 of Sneads, Florida passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021 in Jackson Hospital. She was born on August 15, 1965 to the late Roy Dan Mills Sr. and Pearl Johnson. She spent most of her life in Jackson County where she owned a daycare. Carolyn enjoyed corresponding with pen pals, keeping up with friends on Facebook, and watching The Andy Griffith Show. Her greatest love was her family and babysitting her grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Roy Mills Jr..
Carolyn is survived by her loving husband, Juan A. Ortega Sr.; three sons, Brandon Ortega, John Ortega, and Juan A. Ortega Jr.; one daughter, Arial Ortega; one brother, Don Johnson (Theresa); one sister, Elizabeth Johnson and one grandchild, Lucas Ortega, all of Sneads, Florida.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Central Time on Thursday, August, 26, 2021 at Waldorff Cemetery in Grand Ridge, Florida.
