Carolyn Amison Jones, 83, of Cottondale, Florida passed away on March 26, 2021 at River Valley Rehabilitation Center.
Carolyn was born January 30, 1938 in Panama City, Florida to the late James Alfred Amison and Sarah Belle Kinard. She was a home maker and enjoyed gardening, playing her piano, singing, and loved the Lord with all her heart.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, James Alfred Amison and Sarah Belle Kinard; son, Michael Jones; daughter, Amy “Beth” Rabin; sister, Anne Peterson; and her brother, James Donald Amison.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry H. Jones; her children, Kendra Bryan and husband, Jerry of Empire, LA, Jerry Jones and wife, Jayne of Port St. Joe, FL, Norman “Buddy” Jones of Panama City, FL, and Valerie Justice of Saxis, VA; her brother, Larry Amison and wife, Myrlene of Tallahassee, FL; and her sister-in-law, Wilma Amison of Dallas, GA. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren and will be missed greatly by close friends and family.
No services are planned at this time. Memorialization will be by cremation with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
