Bulldogs make it a 3-win week in soccer

The Bulldogs returned from Thanksgiving Break with nothing but winning on their mind. They didn’t disappoint their loyal fans as they picked up a trio of wins. Tuesday, they traveled to Port St. Joe and handed the Sharks a 5-4 loss. On Thursday, it was a home match and they handed the visiting Bozeman Bucks a 9-1 loss. They ended the week Friday night at Rickards with a 4-3 win.

Marianna wins 5-4 over Port St. Joe
The Marianna Bulldogs made the long trip to Port St. Joe but had a sweet ride back with a 5-4 victory in their rear-view window.
Tuesday, it was definitely the Bishop Bosland show with Bosland combining a hat trick and a deuce for five total goals coming off his foot. He was ably assisted by his teammates. Matthew Clikas had a trifecta of assists with cousin and brother Jac and Justin Clikas picking up an assist each.
Chris Gable ably defended the goal and preserved the win for the Bulldogs with nine saves.

Bulldogs win 9-1 over Bozeman
The Bulldogs kept the crowd on their feet Thursday night at Bulldog Stadium. The Bulldogs found the back of the net nine times while goal keeper Chris Gable held the Bucks to just one goal.
Bishop Bosland found the back of the box four times and had one assist. Caleb Torbett and Matthew Clikas both had a pair of goals with Jac Clikas notching a goal of his own.
Coming through with three assists was Caden Akerson while Gage Bannerman, Jackson Gause, and Seth Ham all had one assist each.

Marianna wins over Rickards 4-3
After the Bulldogs were greeted at home with cheering fans on Thursday night, they took their game on the road Friday to Tallahassee to take on Rickards. It was a closer match than they would have liked but the Bulldogs prevailed with a 5-4 win.
Leading Bulldog scorer Bishop Bosland picked up a trifecta, with Caleb Torbett finding the back of the box. Matthew Clikas had two assists with Seth Ham chipped in with one assist.
Chris Gable was in goal and recorded eight saves on the night.
Marianna moves to 4-3 on the season and looks to continue those wins this week.
