Bobbie Nell Crutchfield Jordan was born November 6, 1935 to Dennie Tharpe Crutchfield and Mallie Crutchfield. She had two brothers, Max Crutchfield and Lloyd Crutchfield. She married JW Jordan in 1960 at which time they built a house and started their long lives together. They were married 51 beautiful years. They are survived by their son, Stanley Jordan, born in 1964 of Malone, FL. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Chanda Wade of Defuniak Springs, FL, and grandson Trevor Jordan of Grand Ridge, FL, along with nieces, nephews, cousins, and her sister-in-law Patricia Mathis of Malone, FL

Bobbie graduated from Graceville High School in June of 1953 then went on to receive a degree from Chipola Junior College in Marianna, FL in 1955. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Education from Florida State University in 1958 and a Master’s Degree in Education from FSU in 1981. She was a school teacher for the Jackson County Schools for over 24 years before retiring.

Bobbie was a devout Christian and long-term member of Malone Methodist Church. She found joy in tending to her beautiful roses and raising birds with her husband. She enjoyed spending as much time as she could with her grandchildren, telling them all of her many stories and imparting her wisdom on them. She was an active member of her community and enjoyed contributing her time to help the community in which she lived.
Bobbie went to join her husband under the care of our Lord on December 27, 2020.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. CST on Thursday, December 31, 2020 in the McAlpin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Marianna, Florida. A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
