Billy Joe Presnal of Sycamore, FL passed away February 27, 2023, just after 9:00 P.M. Billy was born November 19,1939 in Carrolton, GA and was the oldest of three brothers. Billy married Shirley Presnal on July 8, 1989. In his family, Billy was known as the rock. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it. Billy is loved by all his family, friends, and anyone who had the privilege to meet him.
Billy Joe Presnal is survived by his wife Shirley Presnal; his children Catherine Presnal, Karyn & Shannon Spooner, Terry & Angela Presnal, and Jason Kingry; his siblings Wyndell & Francis Presnal and Barry Presnal; and finally his grandchildren, Leigh Spooner Cox & Jordan Cox, Jesse Spooner, Lindsay & Bradley Cox, Erin Spooner, Austin Presnal & Sara Dollar, Jada Kingry and Hannah Spooner. Billy is also survived by his brother-in-law Hugh & Brenda Rowan and their family, brother-in-law Clinton & Wanda Hobbs and family, and mother-in-law Gladys E. Rowan. He was preceded in death by his parents Pelham & Bernice Presnal.
A Celebration of Life service for Mr. Billy will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at 11:00 AM Eastern Time in the McAlpin Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will begin immediately following the service. Interment will be private.
