Bill Tom Gavin age 83 of Noma, Fl passed away on Friday, June 21, 2019 in Southeast Health Center in Dothan. He was a native of Noma born on March 23, 1936 to the late Thomas Jay and Rosalyn Gavin. After graduating high school, Bill joined the United States Air Force where he served several years. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Graceville, and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Bethlehem, FL. Bill was an avid gardener and enjoyed fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Jason Stephen Gavin.
Bill is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth Gavin of Noma, FL, one son Tom Gavin and wife Debbie of Noma, FL, daughters Jennifer Gavin (David Bass) of Noma, FL, Gayla Gavin of Gig Harbor, WA, sister Jaquelin Murphy and husband Bill of Charlotte, NC, grandchildren Megan Gavin, and Kayleigh Bass, great grandchildren Aiden Alan, and Ariana Alan, one niece Dreama Murphy Creel, and two nephews Timothy Murphy, and Billy Murphy.
Graveside services for Bill will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Noma City Cemetery.
