Betty K. Miles, 81 of Graceville, entered her heavenly home on Saturday, August 20, 2021.
Mrs. Betty was born In Jackson County, Florida on February 21. 1940 to the late Jesse and Pearl Green Kent. A 1958 graduate of Cottondale High School, she worked with Vanity Fair Mills as a seamstress, retiring in 1985. She dearly loved children and turned that love and passion into her next vocation – an in-home daycare. She lovingly cared for babies and toddlers for 14 years. Finally, she spent 10 years working at Walmart and dearly loved her coworkers there. Those who knew her describe her as a sweet lady, kind, caring and friendly. She will be dearly missed.
A graveside service will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at Pilgrim Rest Cemetery 3924 Woodrest Road Cottondale, FL 32431 with Revs. Tommy Moore and Vince Spencer officiating, James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville directing.
Family will receive friends at James & Lipford Funeral Home on Tuesday, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Predeceased by her husband Robert Miles.
She is survived by her beloved children DeWayne Miles (Sherry), JBER, AK, Donna Miles Snow (Rick), New Smyrna Beach, FL, one sister Patricia Sewell (Wade), Dothan, AL; four grandchildren Drake Miles, Hank Snow., Sabrina Stone, Jamie Stone; one great grandson Gage Stone; one great great grandson Codi Lane Stone; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
