Betty Gwynn Chamblis, age 67, of Marianna, Florida passed away August 28, 2021 at Jackson Hospital.
Betty was born March 14, 1954 in Houston, Texas. Betty had a great love for the Lord, music, reading books, sitting in the sun, making jewelry, and playing Spades online with her friends. She was a resident at Marianna Health and Rehabilitation Center for 5 years and was considered one of the “most spoiled” residents. Betty loved her time there and the people who made her feel so special and so loved.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Horace Eugene Chamblis and Helen Opal Lylte Chambliss; brother, Bob Chamblis; and sister-in-law, Freddie Sue Chamblis.
Betty is survived by her longtime friends, Rella Eisner of Marianna, Florida and Deborah “Debbie” Morland-Davidson of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
No services are planned at this time. Memorialization will be by cremation with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
