Audry Ann Brannon of Sneads, Florida passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 15, 2020.  She was born on January 19, 1944 in Alford, Florida to William and Ardry Haddock.  Audry was a lifelong resident of Jackson County.  She was a woman of faith and a member of Sneads First Freewill Baptist Church where she faithfully attended and taught Sunday School. She lived a fulfilled life serving others.  Audry had a passion for teaching children and retired from her career after 21 years of service as a 4th Grade Teacher at Sneads Elementary School. She enjoyed outdoor activities, working in her flower beds, attending craft shows, traveling (especially to the Smoky Mountains), camping, and spending precious time with her family. Audry always looked forward to visits from family and friends. She was an inspiration to all who knew her, and she will be missed greatly. 

Audry is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years, Donald Brannon, Sr;  one daughter, Tammi J. Moore (Randy); four sons, Donald “Frank” Brannon, Jr, Clarence “Jeff” Brannon (Ruby), Mitchell “Mark” Brannon, and Spencer W. Brannon; four grandchildren, Donald “Donnie Ray” Moore (Brandie), Jason R. Moore (Lauren), Travis J. Moore, and Silas N. Brannon; three great grandchildren, Gabraelle “Gabbie” R. Moore, Colton J. Moore, and Hadley M. Moore; one sister, Barbara L. Haddock; and one brother William “Bill” Haddock Jr.

Audry was preceded in death by her parents; William Olen Haddock, Sr and Ardry Kent Haddock.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Covenant Care Hospice staff for their faithful loving care of Mrs. Audry.

Flowers are appreciated or in lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Mrs. Audry’s name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital ~ 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2020 beginning at 11:00 AM Central Time at McAlpin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rolan Bamberg officiating.  Visitation for friends and family will begin one hour prior to services at 10:00 AM Central Time.  Interment will follow at Dykes Cemetery.
