Apostle Willie Clay Cowart 72 of Stockbridge, Georgia passed from this life to her eternal life on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the Piedmont Henry Hospital in Stockbridge, Georgia.
A funeral service were held 11:00a.m. Saturday, October 9th at located at Shira Sr. and Chelcie McKinnie Memorial Chapel located at 5304 Bowden Hill Road Campbellton, FL with Rev. Joe Tripp, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Bethlehem A. M. E. Church Cemetery located at 3100 Lovewood Road Cottondale, FL 32431, with McKinnie Funeral Home of Campbellton, FL directing.
Willie Clay Cowart was born on January 23, 1949 to the late Robert Lee Cowart and the late Reatha Mae Tripp in Quincy, FL.
In 1996, he was joined in holy matrimony to Kimberly Combs.
He was preceded in death by his Parents: Robert Lee Cowart and Reatha Mae Tripp.
He leaves a lifetime of cherish memories with his devoted Wife of 25 years: Kimberly Crooms Cowart of Stockbridge, GA; Son: Clay W. Cowart of Tallahassee, FL; Two Daughters: Miranda Tatum and Kara (John Jr.) Frymire both of Tallahassee, FL; One Stepdaughter: Tyrina (Erion Sr.) Johnson of Ellenwood, GA; Five Siblings: Edna Franklin of Graceville, FL, James (Juana) Williams of New Bern, NC, Bernard Williams of Tallahassee, FL, Helen (Ezekiel) Williams of Junction City, KS, and Minister Gary (Michelle) Cowart of Martinez, GA; Aunts: Minister Minnie Tripp and Agnes (Evangelist Sam) Gray of Cottondale, FL; Grandchildren: Kristen (Brandon) Belanger and Justin Cowart both of Tallahassee, FL, Kate Cowart and Isaiah Cowart both of Panama City, FL; Four Step-Grandsons: Erion Johnson, Jr., Eli Johnson, Eziah Johnson and Chevy Santana Johnson all of Ellenwood, GA; Great-grandchildren: Armondo Belanger, Khalony Belanger, Kanelope Belanger, Kardin Belanger and Ayden Cowart; Two Brothers-in-law: Mark A, Crooms of Atlanta, GA and Kelvin T.
