Ann Williams Street, 84, originally from Cottondale, passed away on November 11, 2020, in Mexico Beach (Beacon Hill), FL. Preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband William Stephen Street, III (Steve) of Marianna, and her parents Lloyd and Lucile Williams of Cottondale, Florida. Ann is survived by her children, William Stephen, 1V, Michael Lloyd, (Mary) and their children Andrew (Tiffany) their children, Jansin and Drake, and their daughter Sarah Melissa Parker (Mark), Robert James and his children Stephen, (Allie) and their children Aero and Stevie Ann, daughter Alexis, (Ben) and their children Arynn, Reed and Cole and Leslie Ann Street, (Edward Petersen) and their children Edward, William, Christopher, Brie-Ann and Angelina as well as her brother Jimmy Williams, (Annette) along with their children and grandsons, and her sister Judy Wilhite and her children and granddaughter.
While attending Cottondale High School Ann played varsity basketball and was also a cheerleader for the Hornets where she made many life-long friends. Ann was named Miss Cottondale giving her the affectionate nickname “Miss Peanut”. Ann also participated in several beauty pageants. While living in Miami with her husband and children, Ann enjoyed golfing, was a member of a bowling league in which she received a trophy for bowling a perfect game. In addition to playing sports Ann also loved watching football and basketball games and going to the Orange Bowl to see the Dolphins play. Ann’s favorite place to be was at her home in Mexico Beach where she relished in spending time with family, friends and neighbors along with picking up shells, crabbing, fishing and boogie boarding with her grandchildren. She also loved baking, gardening, homemaking, decorating for the holidays and of course, shopping.
Ann was one of a kind and devoted her life to her family which she held dear. Everyone that knew her loved her as she was friendly, outgoing, charismatic with a beautiful smile and infectious laugh.
She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered, always in our thoughts and forever in our hearts.
Rest in peace mom, grandma, and great grandma, we all love you dearly.
Graveside services to be held on February 27 at 1:30pm at the First United Methodist Cemetery in Cottondale Florida.
