Allen Kennith Kinard was born November 12, 1939, in Lee, Florida and went to be with his Lord on March 26, 2023, in Marianna, Florida. Allen was a remarkable man who enjoyed reading and traveling the United States. In 1979, he married the love of his life in Lake Tahoe, Beverly Jean Kinard. They were married for thirty-nine amazing years prior to her death in 2019. He was an amazing mechanic, airplane pilot, metal fabricator and welder. Allen was a proud veteran of the US Airforce. He was a “jack of all trades”, there really wasn’t anything Allen could not do, but most of all he was not a quitter. He was a faithful member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Grand Ridge, Florida. Allen will be deeply missed by all his friends and family.
Allen is survived by his children, Rebecca Kinard of Sneads, FL and Allen Kinard (Donna) of Grand Ridge, FL; three sisters, Betty Blair, Helen Floyd, and Cookie Kelley; four brothers, Lee Kinard (Ann), Dale Kinard, Roger Kinard and Frankie Kinard; three grandchildren, Billy Kinard, Michael Kinard, and Aaron Kinard; eight great grandchildren Damien, Diesel, Adelynne, Ezrah, Isabella, Jack, Aubrey and Liam as well as many other extended family members.
Allen was preceded in death by his parents, Allen Leonard Kinard and Minnie Lee Sevor Kinard; his wife, Beverly Kinard; and three brothers, Charles Kinard, Rudolph, Kinard and Johnny Mac Kinard.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at McAlpin Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at 11:00 AM CST with Rev. James Swafford officiating. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Shady Grove Cemetery in Grand Ridge, FL.
