Alberta H. Suggs, age 91, of Marianna, Florida was granted her angel wings on October 18, 2019. Alberta was born on November 9, 1927 in Houston County, Alabama to John F. and Mary Lee Harrison. She was woman of strong faith and lived life to serve others. She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Marianna, Florida. Alberta enjoyed life and was always there to brighten the lives of others. She was an excellent flower gardener and fantastic cook. Alberta was adored and loved by all who knew her. She was a loving sister, mother and grandmother. Alberta will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but never forgotten.
Alberta is survived by two sons, Floyd E. Suggs and his wife Daisy of Dellwood, FL and Phil C. Suggs of Greenwood, FL; one sister, Alma Lee Vickery of Tallahassee, FL; six grandchildren, Brandi Perkins (Jeremy), Tavi Suggs, Keegan Suggs, Hunter Suggs, Rex M. Suggs (Jasmine) and John Suggs; twelve great grandchildren, as well as a host of many other extended family members.
