Adrian Scott Porter, age 48, of Marianna, FL, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021 at his home surrounded by loving family and friends.
Adrian was born on February 14th, 1973 in Dothan, Alabama and had lived in Marianna, FL for a majority of his life. He spent his professional career as a lifelong mechanic, most recently at Red Dirt Outdoors Equipment (Mahindra) in Marianna. In his leisure time, he loved to hit the back roads with his friends.
Adrian was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Lamar (Marty) Porter.
Survivors include his mother, Cathy Dozier Porter; son, Bryar Porter and his wife, Latoya of Marianna, Fl; daughter, Hannah Porter and wife, Shyanne of Chipley, Fl; five grandchildren, Alysia, Alayna, Ariannah, Arezimae, and Asher; two very dear friends, Wade Wamble and his wife, LaTisha of Marianna, Fl and Daniel Edison and wife, Stephanie of Marianna, Fl; his companion dog, Dixie Lou Porter; along with many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Reverend Peter Sheff officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
Memorialization will be by cremation with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
