Mr. David Godwin, of Marianna, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Thursday, April 7, 2022, in Marianna, Florida.
Graveside Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at 1:00 P.M. from the cemetery of Mt. Olive African Methodist Episcopal Church located at 2135 Fairview Road in Marianna, Florida, with Pastor Margaret Robinson, officiating. Vann Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Godwin will lie in state from 12:00 P. M. until time for the service.
A public viewing will be held on Friday, April 15, 2022, from 4:30
P. M. to 6:00 P. M. from the chapel of Vann Funeral Home.
Center for Disease Control (CDC) Guidance will be followed for social distancing and wearing of masks for everyone’s safety during the viewing and the funeral service.

Four Stepchildren: Mark Lang of Dothan Alabama; Brandon Herring of Jakin, Georgia and Carlton and Danielle Herring both of Marianna, Florida
One Brother: Tony Godwin of Marianna, Florida
Four Sisters: Priscilla Godwin, Helen (Gary) Johns, Pamela Godwin and Lillie (Willie) Monroe all of Marianna, Florida
Six Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many loving friends.
