Monna Lee Dunn, age 87, of Malone, FL, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022 at her residence.
Monna was born on September 7, 1934 in Wellston, OH, to the late Franklin and Mary Downard Denney. Monna graduated from Rio Grande High School and attended Rio Grande University in Ohio and received her Cosmetology Degree. For many years, she was a teacher at Capital Beauty School and loved teaching and investing in students. In 2004, Monna and her husband, Bill, moved to Marianna, FL, before finally calling Malone, FL their home. She enjoyed cooking home cooked meals for her family and sewing.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Donna Beeman.
Monna is survived by her husband, Bill Dunn; son, Scott Dunn and wife, Mia of Piketon, OH; four grandchildren, Kaitlin Colley and husband, Brandon, Mackenzie Dunn and wife, Lana, Rachel Dunn, and Donlee Dunn and Fiance, Karl VanGinneken; four great grandchildren, Jackson, Quinn, Myla, and Zoey; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Monna will be laid to rest in Green Lawn Cemetery in Jackson, OH. No local services are planned at this time. Marianna Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
