James Dudley

Mr. James Dudley of Panama City, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 in Gulf Coast Hospital, Panama City, Florida. 

Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held on Friday, May 24, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at New Hoskie Baptist Church located at 4252 Allen Street Greenwood, FL 32443 with Reverend William Harvey and Reverend Raymond Roulhac, Pastor officiating. 

Interment in Buckhorn Cemetery in Marianna, Florida. 

Vann Funeral Home in charge of service.

Mr. Dudley will lie in repose at the church from 12:00 noon until time for the service.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Vann Funeral Home.

Mr. Dudley leaves to cherish and celebrate a lifetime of fond yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family:

Two Sons: Jeffery Dudley and Rodney Dudley both of San Diego, CA

One Daughter: Patrice Ann Dudley (Jaye) of San Diego, CA

One Special Granddaughter: Danisha Dudley of San Diego, CA

One Sister: Joyce Anderson (Andy) of Panama City, FL

One Brother: Marcelus Dudley of Panama City, FL

And host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.

Vernestine Thomas

Mrs. Vernestine Thomas of Cottondale, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Tuesday, May14, 2019 at her residence.  She was a member of Mount Olive African Methodist Episcopal Church.  

Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Mount Olive African Methodist Episcopal Church located at 2135 Fairview Road Marianna, FL 32446 with Reverend Charles E. Flowers, Pastor and Reverend Jessica Muse officiating. Interment in Mount Olive Cemetery. 

Vann Funeral Home in charge of service.

Mrs. Thomas will lie in repose at the church from 10:00 A.M. until time for the service.

A viewing will be held on Friday, May 17, 2019 from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Vann Funeral Home.

Precious memories will forever remain with her family and friends. 

Devon R. White

Mr. Devon R. White, Sr. of Atlantic City, New Jersey, formerly of Springfield Community, transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Friday, May 03, 2019, in Atlantic City, New Jersey.  He was a member of Springfield African Methodist Episcopal Church. 

Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at Springfield African Methodist Episcopal Church located at 4194 Union  

Road Marianna, FL 32446 with Reverend Hollis McClendon, Pastor officiating. Interment in Springfield Cemetery. Vann Funeral Home in charge of service.

Mr. Devon R. White, Sr. will lie in repose at the church from 12:00 noon until time for the service.

A viewing will be held on Friday, May 17, 2019 5:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Vann Funeral Home.

He leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond memories, a devoted family: 

Two Children: Tasha Wooten (Jeffery) of Marianna, Florida; DeVon White, Jr.  of Callaway, New Jersey

Four Brothers: Cash White (Delois) of New Jersey, Matthew White (Delores) of Ohio, Harlon White (Jernery) of Tennessee and Donnie White (LaRonda) of California

Three Sisters: Blondie Bellamy (William), Gloria White (Robert) both of Cottondale, Florida and Shirley White of Augusta, Georgia

Four Grandchildren: Jahmir Wooten, Leah Wooten, Jordan Wooten all of Marianna, Florida and Devonna White of Callaway, New Jersey. 

 A host nieces and nephews and a host cousins, other relatives, and many dear friends.

Cornell “Connie” Milton

Mrs. Cornell “Connie” Milton of Marianna, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Saturday, May 4, 2019 in Jackson Hospital. To know her was to love her. 

Mrs. Milton was a member of the Pope Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church.

Homegoing celebration of life services were held on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 2:30 PM from the sanctuary of the Pope Chapel AME Church located at 4898 Pope Chapel Road in Marianna, Florida where the Reverend Larry Brown is pastor. Interment in Nubbin Ridge Cemetery in Greenwood, Florida. Vann Funeral in charge of the arrangements. 

Mrs. Milton is survived by:

Her Two Sons: Theodore Meadows, Jr. of Pleasantville, New Jersey and Nathaniel Milton (Alberta) of Hinesville, Georgia

Three Sisters: Bernice Hayes and Helen Brooks both of Marianna, Florida; and Annette Hazelton of Tallahassee, Florida

And numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and many dear friends.
