Ms. Remel Douglas, of Blountstown, Florida, transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Thursday, November 1, 2018, in Blountstown, Florida.

 Funeral services for Ms. Douglas will be held Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. from the sanctuary of St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church located at 16345 SE River Street, Blountstown, FL 32424. Reverend Dr. C. L. Wilson, pastor, Minister Warren Mosely and Elder Andrew Davis.

Interment in Magnolia Cemetery in Blountstown, FL

Vann Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Douglas will lie in repose at the church from 10:00 A.M. until time for the funeral service. 

The viewing will be held Friday, November 09, 2018 from 1:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Vann Funeral Home.

 Funeral services for Ms. Pinkard will be held Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Salem African Methodist Episcopal Church located 5729 Browntown Road, Graceville, FL 32440. Reverend Melenda T. Smith officiating, Reverend Kim Williams, Reverend Ruben Merritt, Reverend John Flournoy, Reverend Teretha Olds and Evangelist Sigrid Reed.

Interment in Gainers Cemetery in Graceville, FL

Mrs. Alice Ruth Pittman, of Marianna, Florida, transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Monday, October 29, 2018, in Signature Healthcare at the Courtyard in Marianna, Florida.

 Funeral services for Mrs. Pittman will be held Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 12:00 noon from the sanctuary of New Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church located at 2870 Barnes Street, Marianna, FL 32448. Reverend Dr. Larry Issac Scott officiating.

Interment in Mount Olive Cemetery in Marianna, FL

Mrs. Christine Vann Long, age 101 of Greenwood, Florida, transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Wednesday, October 17, 2018, in Greenwood, Florida.

 Funeral services for Mrs. Christine Long was held Friday, November 02, 2018, at 1:00 P.M. at Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church, in Marianna, Florida with Minister Travis Ephriam, Rev. Joseph Curry, Rev. David Cobb and Rev. Dwight Cockerham pastor, officiating.  

Interment was in the church cemetery.

A viewing was held Thursday, November 01, 2018, from 12:00 Noon to 6:00 P.M. at Vann Funeral Home.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories, a loving and devoted family:

6 Daughters: Gloria Jones of Long Island, New York; Delores (Nathaniel) Jennings of Highland Falls, New York; Alma Pinkney of Sanford, Florida; Linda Smith, Sharon Cooper and Joyce Cooper all of Greenwood, Florida

1 Daughter-In-Law: Barbara Long of Missouri City, Texas
